Betty Lou  Miller
Betty Lou Hartburg Miller, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2015 surrounded by her family at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Sugar Land. She was born April 2, 1927 in Borger, Texas. Betty Lou was a long-time member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg. Betty Lou was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary for 48 years and of the Royal Neighbors of American organization in which she was very proud. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and supported them in all their endeavors. Betty Lou enjoyed traveling, gambling, making crafts, and going out to eat. Pepsi Cola, her Kodak camera, chit-chatting with the ladies at Pat's Beauty Salon and playing with her cat, Fuzzy were some of her favorite things. She was a homemaker but really missed her calling as a photographer and news reporter. Betty Lou will be missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ernest Miller; her parents, Victor "Vic" and Magdalene Hartburg; daughter and son in law, Annie Miller Gold and Jowayne Gold; grandson, Kendall Roehe; and her long-time companion, Herb Eben.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie and her husband, Jimmy Brau, Pam and her husband, Gus Nawara, Minnie and her husband, Mike Roehe; grandchildren, James and his wife, Ambyr Brau, Kristy, Gus Allen and Joyce Nawara, Heather Roehe, Kim and her husband, Donald Garrett, Rox Ann and her husband, Philip Anders; great grandchildren, Eden Roehe-Vogelsang, Camryn Roehe, Madison and Logan Garrett, and Nathan, Elizabeth, Jonathan and Catherine Anders; her cat, Fuzzy and her Kodak.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg with burial following at the Rosenberg City Cemetery, formerly W.O.W. Cemetery in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will include Nathan and Jonathan Anders, Logan Garrett, James Brau, Gus Allen Nawara and Heather Roehe.

Honorary pallbearers will include Philip Anders and Donald Garrett.

Memorials may be made to the Flag Ministry at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosenberg.
