Pat was born on September 9, 1934 in Virginia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Edna Sue Jilg and Ancel L. Patterson and had a brother, James Patterson, and a half sister, Valerie Leahy. Pat graduated from West Seattle High School in 1952. She worked as a graphic artist at Boeing where she met her husband Donald Wesley Bauer. They were married on September 20, 1958 in Seattle, Washington. Pat and Don had 2 daughters, Kim and Kelly, and 1 son, Christopher.

Pat has lived in Washington, Minnesota, Michigan, California, Oregon, and Texas. She held a variety of jobs throughout her life, including a sales clerk, grocery cashier, and police dispatcher. She retired in 2002 after 11 years as a trainer at Northwest Airlines. Pat was extremely artistic and enjoyed quilting, painting, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, playing the piano/organ, and writing poetry. She always went out of her way to help others and strived to make a difference in people's lives with her beautiful smile and endearing humor. Pat is remembered for her loving and compassionate nature, her strong and selfless heart, and her lifelong devotion as a humble servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Edna Jilg and Ancel Patterson; brother, James Patterson; son, Christopher Bauer; husband, Donald Bauer; and daughter, Kim Repetowski. Pat is survived by her daughter, Kelly and son-in-law Steve of Highland Village, Texas; son-in-law Don Repetowski of Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Paige and Brooke Wyant; sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Tim Leahy, and family; and sister-in-law Carol Patterson, and family.


Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
