Canuta
  
Canuta "Connie" L. Hernandez, 88, passed away on July 22, 2016. She was born on January 19, 1928. Connie was a faithful and dedicated member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Juana Lugo; husband, A.R. Hernandez; son, A.L. Hernandez, Jr.; great granddaughter, Julia D. Munoz; and great grandson, Oscar M. Segueda.

Survivors include her sisters, Leonarda Whittington – Freeport, Texas, Benita Sandoval – Houston, Texas and Santos Montoya – Freeport, Texas; children, Juanita Rivera – Conroe, Texas, Ruben Hernandez – Brazoria, Texas, Juan Jose Hernandez – Dallas, Texas, Ricardo Hernandez – Lake Jackson, Texas, Maria Cavazos (Richard) – Brazoria, Texas, M. Martha Hernandez – Angleton, Texas, Oralia "Lala" Jackson (Keith) – California, Mary Helen Jasso (Joe)- Angleton, Texas, M. Carmen Dunkin (Frank) – Angleton, Texas, Gilbert Hernandez (Sandra) – Minnesota, and Valentine Moreno (Arthur) – Freeport, Texas; 27 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Wake Service/Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton with burial following at Angleton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Joe Frank Rivera, Michael Hernandez, David Hernandez, Christopher Jasso, Matthew Dunkin and Joe Richard Hernandez.
