Eugene G. Mucka, Jr., 62, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, October 25, 2016 in Richmond, Texas. He was born on October 30, 1953 in El Campo, Texas. He was a devout Catholic and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He also loved to listen to polka and waltz music, especially his favorite country singer, Charley Pride. Eugene also enjoyed going to church bazaars, eating out at his favorite restaurants, watching TV - especially all sporting events, racing cars and wrestling. He also liked game shows including his favorite, Jeopardy, and doing crossword puzzles daily.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene G. Mucka, Sr. and Angela Mucka Wendel. Survivors include his brother, Anthony Mucka of Rosenberg, Texas; sisters, Barbara and Cindy Mucka of Rosenberg, Texas; along with numerous friends and relatives. He is also survived by his four canine companions, Katie, Minka, Nellie Belle and Peanut.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with a rosary led by Father William D. Bartniski at 6:00 p.m.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at West Gethsemane Gardens in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will include Joe Reck, Curtis Riske, Adolph Beran, Dustin Vacek, Mark Dujka and Shane Lala. Honorary pallbearers will include Trent Pearson and Cary Oswald.

Memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church School Fund.

Eugene will be greatly missed but we know he is with his Lord and Savior and we will all be reunited and together again in Heaven one day.
