Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Lee, 62, of Needville, will be held at 10:00 A. M., Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.
Kenneth was born August 22, 1947 in Marks, Mississippi to Ottis Lee and Carolyn Watts Lee. Kenneth was a Captain with the Fort Bend County Sheriffs Department for 29 years and in law enforcement for 38 years. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy having done a tour of duty in Vietnam. He passed away December 20, 2009 in Sugar Land.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Ottis Lee and his brother, Curtis Lee.
Kenneth leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Debra Lee; sons, Kenneth Ryan Lee, Derrick Paul Lee, Christopher Lee and Jared Lee; mother, Carolyn Lee; brother, Mark Lee; sisters-in-law, Michelle Hinrichs and Leslie Lee; brother-in-law, Mark Hinrichs; along with other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kenneth to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 15186, Austin, Texas 78761-5186 or to the American Diabetes Association, 2400 Augusta Drive, Suite 175, Houston, Texas 77057.
