Funeral services for Vernon J. Guillory, 87, of Katy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Vernon was born October 9, 1922 in Bunkie, Louisiana to Leonce and Florence (Ortego) Guillory. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Vernon went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Katy, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Florence Guillory; and eight brothers and sisters.
Vernon is lovingly survived by his wife of 63 years, June A. Guillory; daughters, Susan Johnson and husband, Gerald, and Elizabeth Smith and husband, David; sons, Mark Guillory, and Robert Guillory and wife, Nina; sister, Alberta Migues; grandchildren, Laurie Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Justin Guillory; great-grandson, Kaden Guillory; along with other family members and friends.
