Funeral services for Geraldine Gwendolyn Garber, 82, of Needville, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 7, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Geraldine was born June 1, 1927 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Nay and Rosa (Maxie) Bowen. She passed away on March 5, 2010 in Missouri City.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alfred Yoast, Floyd Yoast and Gordon Dickerson; and sister, Bernice Hayward.
Geraldine is lovingly survived by her husband of over 68 years, George Garber; children, Beverly Beck and husband, Kenneth, Tim Garber, and Deborah Voigt and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Kevin Voigt, Cheryl Loth, and Kristy Allen and husband, Luke; great-grandson, Travis Allen; along with other family members and friends.
