A funeral service for Kenneth Wayne Groda, 67, of Rosenberg, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Charles Surovik will officiate the service.
Kenneth was born June 23, 1943 in Eagle Lake to Johnnie J. and Verna Anna (Rychlik) Groda. He was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Richmond. Kenneth passed away July 14, 2010 in Richmond.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie J. and Verna Anna Groda; sister, Margie Firebaugh; and a niece, Lisa de los Santos.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Shelley Westbrook, Donna Scott, Patricia Bottorff and Kenneth Groda, Jr.; sisters, Josie Knesek and Johnnie Wleczyk; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
