Marie Zuckero Grunwald, 80, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Navasota. She was born March 14, 1930 in Houston, Texas to Samuel Bernard Zuckero and Nancy McQueen Zuckero. Marie was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Beasley and worked as a production assistant at the Herald Coaster for 30 years.
Survivors include her 3 children, Adell Supak and husband Jerome, Arnold Fred Grunwald, Laura Denise Jennings and husband Monty, 4 brothers George Zuckero and wife Ruth, Nick Zuckero and wife Eunice, Sam Zuckero and wife Dorothy and Victor Zuckero, 9 grandchildren, Jerod, Brandy, Laramie, Joshua, Sarah, Nancy, Monuelle “Bubba”, Elizabeth and Christopher, 5 great grandchildren, Jamie, Luke, Wyatt, Brody and Keegan.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilburn Grunwald, and 2 brothers, John and Albert Zuckero.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Friedens United Church of Christ in Beasley with burial to follow in Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery in Beasley.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
