I just learned of Ken's passing, and I am shocked and gutted by the news. Ken was just a great guy. In a world full of cynical people, Ken just never seemed to never have a negative thing to say about anything or anyone. He was just above and beyond getting into being down on anything. Even in life he existed on a higher plain.

If Ken walked into a room full of strangers, he really did seem to see that as just a bunch of friends that he didn't know yet.

Ken was one of the first people that I talked to when I began in Amateur Radio, and he definitely set the example of a First Class Operator.

My thoughts are with his family. And while it can hardly replace having him around, I hope that they can take solace in the knowledge that he touched and meant so much to so many.

I know you're with God, Capt. Ken.

I'll miss you.

Captain Lee had a tremendous influence on my life and my carer. I had the opportunity to work with and know him for 11 years while at FBCSO. He was truly an example and a great teacher who touched the lives of many.
My deepest condolences.

I learned only yesterday of the death of your husband. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in your time of great sorrow. I first met Ken in September 15, 1979 when I joined the Missouri City Police Department. Ken was my Sergeant. Although we only worked together for a year, we had always continued the comrade that is developed between police officers. I wished that I could have been there. Again, my deepest sympathy to you and your family, he was patriot and a great officer.

My deepest sympathies to your family for your terrible loss. I was honored to consider Ken an old and dear friend. He worked with my husband many years ago at Fort Bend County. If I am not mistaken, I think they went to police school together back in 1976 or so.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mr. Ken Lee. I believe Mr. Lee and my dad (Bubba Medve) used to coach little league baseball. Although I was very young I always remember my dad speaking very highly of Mr. Lee. I know he will be dearly missed.

Our prayers are with the whole Lee family. Andy Littleton and Ryan were in scouts together when we all lived in Tara. Your dad was a wonderful person. He will always love you and just remember the good memories when you were in scouts and on the Sheriffs department.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your dearly beloved one. One day soon, death will be swallowed up forever and those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out. Isaiah 25 verse 8 and John chapter 5 verses 28, 29.

Ken was a really great guy. He truly enjoyed life to its fullest, and was an inspiration to many. I have carried his "I'll take care of it" attitude into my own life since we met on the radio in 2003. I will miss his cheerful emails, funny stories, and positive attitude. I'm sorry to see Ken go so suddenly, but his spirit lives on. I extend my condolences to Ken's family and everyone who knew him.

My heart sank when I read of Ken's death. I had known and dealt with him professionally for over 20 years at the S.O. After not seeing him for a few years I had the pleasure of sitting and visiting with him for a couple of hours last year while we were both working at a voting sight. We reminiced about the old days and then the times that awaited both of us upon retirement. He will be missed grately by many people. May your many memories bring you comfort and time bring you peace. My Deepest Sympathy

I wanted to express my condolences at your loss. I only slightly knew 'RDR' from the radio, but he seemed like a great guy, and is highly spoken of by my friends that really knew him. All I know is that Jesus is our "peace" in all situations. God bless!
