Both our son and daughter had the privilege of having Becky for their speech teacher during their years at Travis Elementary. They both started speech services at the age of four, so 'Miss Becky' literally was their 'first teacher'. The caring manner in which she worked diligently with them was a wonderful beginning to their school careers. She was truly special, and touched many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Larry, As you know, my time with Becky goes back to her student days at UH when she was a graduate student and I worked there. My remembrance of her, and I think I shared this with you recently, was that she was always calm and peaceful. She worked for us as a graduate assistant and her interaction with her fellow students was with professionalism, helpfulness and genuine affection. She was an easy person to love and respect. I'm sure many will miss her, most of all, of course, you and your children. I think they must know how lucky they were to have her. You are in my prayers.

I worked with Becky for the last five years and there wasn't a time that we spoke when she didn't find something positive and encouraging to say no matter how difficult or frustrating the situation. She was a true woman of faith who through her example made me a stronger christian, mother, wife, and speech pathologist. I am so glad that God placed us on the same road in life. My sympathies and prayers are with you Larry, Jordan, Jill, and Jessi.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
This has always comforted me, may it do the same for you:

To the Stryk family we, the Munoz family, are very sorry for your loss. Rebecca was a beautiful person. She worked with both my children Esteban and Maricela when they both attended Travis Elementary. She was a very caring and genuine person when it came to children not just mine. My children will always have fond memories of her.

On occasion I had the chance to visit with Becky in the teacher's lounge at Travis Elementary. Almost every conversation we had was about her children. She was so proud of you guys. It was obvious in the way she spoke of you. Becky, rest in peace.

Larry, Jordan, Jill and Jessi - Becky was brave, strong and very positive throughout her battle with cancer leaving us with a lasting memory of a very determined lady. We will always be here for you. We love you all.

I really loved chaperoning the Belles with her. She will be missed. We want you to know that our families prayers are with you as she becomes a beautiful angel in heaven.

I feel blessed having known Becky. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
